Turkish doctors prefer using minimally traumatic laparoscopic method. Unlike open surgery, a surgeon does not make deep incisions. Instead, he or she makes several small holes and performs the procedure with a special tool, a laparoscope. To improve precision, the laparoscope is equipped with an HD video camera, and the operating room has large monitors so that the doctor can see everything very clearly.
