One of Turkey’s most experienced and distinguished orthopaedic surgeons. He graduated from the Faculty of Surgery at Cerrahpaşa in 1996. He has practised at the Medipol and Florence Nightingale medical centres and has experience as a military trauma surgeon. He currently works in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Liv Hospital Ulus, where he performs the full range of musculoskeletal surgeries. He is regarded as a specialist of international standing and regularly participates in major international medical congresses on orthopaedics. He is the author of a large number of scientific papers. Between 1998 and 2013, he was awarded prestigious state prizes on four occasions for his contribution to the development of orthopaedics in Turkey; the last two of these recognised his work on the development of osteosynthesis techniques and scoliosis surgery. He holds over 60 professional certificates. The doctor is a highly qualified specialist in the fields of arthroplasty of large joints, robotic knee surgery (MAKOplasty), cartilage and chondrocyte transplantation in the knee joint, knee joint surgery, meniscus surgery, joint replacement and sports injuries.
