Professor of orthopedics and traumatology of the Koç University Hospital. He received his higher medical education in Ankara, followed by a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology based in the orthopedic department of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne Great Britain.

Professor is one of the best Turkish experts in the field of arthroplasty of the knee and hip joints, as well as in the field of surgical correction of tumors of soft tissues and bones.
