Prof. Ayhan Dinçkan

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Ayhan Dinckan – Director of the Center for Transplantology in Akdeniz University Hospital & Head of the Department.
Since 2004 he started working in the general surgery department and taught at the Medical faculty of the General Surgery Department at Akdeniz University. After a year he became the head of the Transplantology department at the clinic.

In parallel, he taught at the Faculty of Transplant Surgery at the Akdeniz University. In 2009 he received the title of Professor.
His professional research was dedicated to: transplantologists (received the title of Candidate of Sciences), oncologists of the liver (doctorate), extrahepatic bile ducts (Ph.D.), portal hypertension (doctorate), hydastatic liver cyst (doctorate). He has over 120 scientific publications.

Membership in professional organizations:
• Turkish Medical Association;
• Turkish Surgical Association;
• Coordination Association of Transplantation Centers of Turkey (TTCCA).
