Prof. Semra Kahraman

Top specialist in field of In-vitro fertilization in Turkey. Graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Hacettepe , then – the School of Medicine of the University of Ankara, on the basis of which in 2004 she received the title of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has completed internships abroad: the Cornell Medical Center in New York, the United States, the Reproductive Genetics Institute in Chicago, the USA, the Helmanta Clinic Center in Brussels, Belgium. For 17 years she has been managing the department of IVF, Andrology and genetics of the Memorial Clinic in Istanbul. It is prof. Semra Kahraman for the first time in Turkey used the ICSI technique (intracytoplasmic sperm injection). The professor is also the first in Turkey to practice methods of freezing embryos, genetic diagnosis of preimplantation as well as studies of embryonic stem cells. She Has received more than 10 awards for contribution to reproductive health. For the period of scientific activity she wrote 150 scientific articles and spoke at more than 250 conferences.
