Professor of Gastroenterology at the Koç University Hospital. Medical education and professorship was awarded on the basis of the Medical Faculty of Istanbul University.
For his scientific work, the doctor was awarded a research grant and for a long time occupied one of the research positions at Tulane University in New Orleans (USA). Between 2005 and 2010 he was in charge of the Department of Gastroenterology at the medical faculty at Istanbul University.
From 1999 to 2007, he was head of the Istanbul branch of the Turkish Association of Gastroenterologists. Professor is also an author of more than 200 scientific works published in leading Turkish and American medical publications.
