The Professor became an internationally recognized specialist due to his scientific activity and participation in the development of new methods of treating surgical pathology.
Professor graduated from the medical faculty University of Istanbul in 1976, and then continued his studies until 1986. Has a scientific degree of associate professor in the field of morphology. Since 1992, he was in charge of the Department of General Surgery at the Memorial Hospital in Istanbul.
In different years he has repeatedly undergone training and refresher courses in general and laparoscopic surgeries in the USA, France, UK and Germany. The professor holds a license of a specialist in the highest qualification category of the University of Pittsburgh (USA) in transplantology.
Several years ago, the professor personally performed an operation on the President of the Republic of Turkey. The professor is one of the last assistants of the world-famous Dr.Thomas Earl Starzl, who was the first in the world to successfully perform liver transplantation.
