The head of the organ transplant centre at the Memorial Hospital Group is the world-renowned Professor Mündži Kalayoglu, who also heads the departments of general and paediatric surgery. To date, he has performed around 45,000 operations, including over 2,000 liver transplants.
According to the prestigious American organisation Top Master’s in Health Administration, Professor Münhi Kalayoglu is also one of the world’s top 20 innovative surgeons.
Previously, the Turkish professor worked at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh (USA) and also founded the Liver Transplant Programme at the University of Wisconsin.
