Czech Republic is a country with highly developed medicine, high-quality equipment and highly qualified medical personnel. Patients with completely different health problems come here for diagnosis and treatment. The Czech Republic is particularly known in: neurosurgery, orthopedics, spinal surgery, general surgery, oncology, urology, neurology, rehabilitation, for which this country occupies one of the leading positions among EU countries. A separate word should be said about the spa treatment and rehabilitation in the Czech Republic. There is a sufficiently large number of thermal water sources suitable for the recovery of patients with chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, gastrointestinal tract, nervous system.
Patients from countries with current visa regime with the European Union will require an open Schengen visa. Based on the information provided by the patient, Czech clinics prepare an invitation letter and confirm the arrival of the patient. Patient is obliged to submit full package of documents (the exact list can be found on the website of the Czech Embassy in your country) to the Czech embassy or consulate in the place of residence for obtaining a medical visa. The clinic has the right to request payment of the deposit account before issuing an invitation.Patients with a visa-free regime do not need an invitation to the clinic.
