Dr. Jan Doležel 

One of the best oncourologists and specialists in robotic surgery in the Czech Republic. He graduated from Medical Faculty of the University of Masaryk in Brno. He received his doctorate at the University of Bratislava. Holds a diploma from the University of Strasbourg, confirming his qualification in laparoscopic surgery.

In 2006, he received a certificate for performing robotic operations on DaVinci. In 2008, got recognition as a specialist in robotic surgery from the Society of Robotic Surgery in Czech Republic . At the moment he is the head of the department of oncological urology of the Masaryk Memorial Institute of Cancer in Brno. In parallel, he is the leading surgeon with a specialization in robotic surgery of urology at the Vysočina Center of the Hospital of St. Zdislav.

Completed several trainings at the Institute of Urology of London, the University of Indianapolis and the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, the Inselspital Clinic in Switzerland, and the neurosurgical department of the Werner-Wicker Clinic in Germany. Author and co-author of 108 scientific works published in Czech and foreign publications, and 145 reports at national and international conferences.

From 2007 to 2010, he performed 578 laparoscopic and robotic operations in urology of which 510 were radical prostatectomies. From 2001 to 2010, he carried out 15 unique operations in the Czech Republic in SDAF-SARS.
