Experience: over 30 years
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Charles University, Head of the Orthopaedics Department at Motol University Hospital, former President (2009–2011) of the International Society of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeons (SICOT).
From 1975 to 1981, he studied at the Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague.
He has delivered over 300 lectures at Czech and international congresses. He is the author of 110 scientific articles in orthopaedic journals (Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Venezuela, USA).
He has received five research grants from the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
