The Beethoven Sanatorium is one of the largest rehabilitation and health centres in Teplice. The Teplice Spa is the oldest spa resort in Europe, where such famous personalities as Ludwig van Beethoven, Richard Wagner, Frederic Chopin, Hans Christian Andersen Johann Wolfgang Goethe and Arthur Schopenhauer have rested and recuperated. It was founded at the beginning of the 18th century with the architectural connection of eleven historic buildings. It was named after the distinguished guest, Beethoven.
Importantly, the hotel also preserves the Beethoven Suite, in which the world-famous German composer lived in 1812.
The last reconstructions of the Teplice Spa Hotel were carried out in 2007 and 2017. Each room at the Hotel Beethoven has a refrigerator, satellite TV, telephone, internet, safe, toilet, bathroom or shower.

The Beethoven Health Spa has the largest and most highly technical treatment facilities in the Teplice Spa. The Beethoven sanatorium complex has a large natural thermal pool. The water temperature in the pool ranges from 39-41 degrees and the composition is bicarbonate-sodium with fluoride and other rare elements that have a disinfecting effect.
Swimming in such water relieves muscle hypertonicity and relieves pain, as well as bringing relaxation and relief.
