Prof. Marek Babjuk

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Urology Department at Motol University Hospital.

In 1985, he graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. In 2003, he was awarded the title of professor.

He has undertaken numerous international training placements and continues to participate actively in them.

Membership of professional organisations:

• Member of the European Association of Urology (EAU);
• Member of the International Education Committee of the European School of Urology (ESU);
• Member of the Czech National Urological Society; has served as the organisation’s president since 2011;
• Member of the Slovak Urological Society.

He is active in teaching and is the author of five textbooks on urology and over 150 scientific articles and research papers on urology. He has been awarded 13 grants in urology from the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
