Top gastroenterologist in Korea. Expert in the field of gastrointestinal oncology. Director of the Pancreatic and Biliary Cancer Centre and Gastroenterology Centre at Samsung Medical Centre. He graduated from Hanyang Medical College. He specialised in gastroenterology at Samsung Medical Centre and Hanyang University Hospital. Worked abroad at the Second Red Cross Hospital (Kyoto, Japan) and Stanford University School of Medicine (California, USA).
