Chief Gastroenterologist at Hadassah Medical Centre. The professor has over 33 years of medical practice behind him. He specialises in the treatment of all types of digestive system disorders, including Crohn’s disease, stomach or intestinal ulcers, gastrointestinal cancer, and functional and motility disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
He received his medical degree from Ben-Gurion University. He was appointed senior lecturer in gastroenterology at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
He is an active member of the American and Israeli Gastroenterology Associations, and the European Organisation for the Study of Crohn’s Disease and Colitis. He holds the post of Director at the Centre for the Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in Israel, as well as at the Institute of Gastroenterology.
He is the author of over 50 scientific papers, articles and books. He is actively involved in research and the search for new methods of diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal diseases.
