About the doctor
Eminent surgeon specialising in the treatment of breast cancer, endoscopic and robotic breast surgery. He is a pioneer in robotic technology, having performed the world’s first mastectomy using the da Vinci SP system.
He received his medical degree from Cosin University, where he also completed his master’s and doctoral theses. He has been an Associate Professor at Yonsei University since 2021, where he continues to actively teach and conduct research.
Dr Park is a member of several professional organisations including the Korean Society of Surgery and the Korean Breast Cancer Society. His research interests include not only robotic and endoscopic surgery, but also hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome.
