Dr. Núria Pons Diviu

Dr. Núria Pons Diviu was educated at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, practiced at Hospital de Martorell. She is currently the Deputy Director of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Service at the Clinic of Catalonia, as well as an active member of the Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT).

Professional experience and education:

• In 2006 she received a degree in medicine and surgery at the Autonomous University of Barcelona;
• 2006 – practice at the Hospital de Martorell medical center;
• 2009-2010 – postgraduate diploma in surgical anatomy for internal medical workers in surgical specialties from the University of Barcelona;
• 2011 – present: Deputy Director of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the General Hospital in Catalonia;
• 2013-2014 – specialist in the care and treatment of patients with diabetic foot;
• 2015-2016 – postgraduate student in the pathology of the foot and ankle;
• Member of the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT) since 2006. (SECOT member number: 4677);
• Full member of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Catalan and Balearic Islands.

Participation in clinical studies, trainings and publications:

• Studies on the topic: “Analysis of the characteristics and results of arthroplasty of the hip and knee joints: development of tools for evaluating the practice”
• Publication as a coauthor in 12 chapters of the book;
• Publication as a co-author of 5 review articles;
• The training of the scientific committee in the journal “Osteo-articular clinic” from 2007 to 2011.
