The clinic employs highly specialized radiologists, mammalogists, surgeons and nurses to treat breast cancer and other breast diseases. Every year about 300 operations are performed at the Marmara University Hospital to remove malignant and benign breast tumours.

Breast cancer is the second most common cancerous disease among women. If you start treatment before the neoplasm spreads throughout the body, the 5-year survival rate is 99%.

The Marmara University Hospital has the opportunity to take a genetic test to determine predisposition to breast cancer. 5-10% of breast tumours are related to hereditary factors.

His post-graduate surgical specialization was held in 1991-1996 at the Department of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Marmara University Hospital.In 1998, he was one of the founders of the Department of Chest and Endocrine Surgery, which was established in the Department of General Surgery of Marmara University.
