Head of the Melanoma and Cancer Immunotherapy Centre at Hadassah Medical Centre. She graduated from Tel Aviv University. She completed her internship at Assaf Harofeh Medical Centre in Israel. She worked as a resident specialising in dermatology and oncology at the Beilinson Medical Centre in Israel. She studied tumour immunology at the National Institute of Health and at Stanford University. She conducted research at the National Cancer Institute in the USA. The professor heads the National Centre for Melanoma Research and Treatment and is also involved in clinical trials of innovative melanoma therapies.
