The professor has an outstanding medical background. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ben-Gurion University. He completed his internship at the Chaim Sheba Medical Centre and his specialisation in gynaecology and obstetrics at Hadassah Medical Centre. He also undertook postgraduate training in urogynaecology and gynaecological oncology at St George’s Hospital in London and at the University of St Louis Medical Centre in the USA. In addition, the doctor worked in France at the European School of Surgery, where he mastered laparoscopic surgical techniques in gynaecological oncology. And at Mount Sinai Hospital in Florida, he learnt to perform operations using robotic technology.
