About the doctor
He graduated from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. He is currently Head of the Spinal Surgery Department at the Karkonowski Medical Centre in Jelenia Góra. He has 56 scientific publications to his name. He holds the post of associate professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.
He has completed numerous training placements abroad: at the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies for Clinical Neurosurgery in Hanover; at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of California, San Francisco (a two-week training course on deep brain stimulation); at the Department of Neurosurgery at St Peter’s Hospital in Paris (deep brain stimulation), training in endoscopic techniques in neurosurgery at the Clinique Turin in Paris, as well as in minimally invasive neurosurgical methods at the Centre for Outpatient Diagnostics and Surgery in Freiburg, and others.
Membership of professional organisations:

- European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
