Prof. Shmuel Avital

Head of the Department of Surgery at Meir Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the Hassad School of Medicine in Jerusalem, as well as advanced training and internships at the best clinics in America: North Carolina Hospital and Lahey Massachusetts Medical Center. He specialises in the surgical treatment of spleen, adrenal, colon and rectal abnormalities.

Shmuel Avil has performed many successful minimally invasive gallbladder and hernia operations. He holds the position of Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University: he lectures on surgery. The professor is eligible for membership in such organisations:
