Prof. Kim Hoon-yub

He developed and successfully conducts transoral periosteal thyroidectomy, after which patients do not have post operative scars. Professor is the leader in neuromonitoring in Korea, which is necessary during the operation to save voice after the operation. He became the first Korean member of the International Society of Neuromonitoring, who was tasked with conducting research together with world-famous scientists.

Scientific works of the professor were published in well-known journals such as Surgery, Surgical Endoscopy. Kim Hong Yob ranks first in the safe operation of the thyroid gland, after which postoperative consequences such as: voice change due to paralysis of the vocal cords, hypocalcemia occurs less than 1% of all cases.
