Prof. Semra Kahraman

Head of the Centre for Andrology and Genetics of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) at Şişli Memorial Clinic.

Professor Kahraman was educated at Hacettepe Medical University. In 2004, she received the title of professor at Yeditepe University. She is the author of 5 books and 24 chapters in international textbooks. She has 97 articles in Turkish medical publications and 103 in international ones. She regularly participates in international conferences and symposiums as a speaker and chairperson.

She has received doctor’s awards:

• 2017, 2018 – Star Awards from American Society of Reproductive Medicine;
• 2015 – Reproductive Clinic of the Year Award from the International Journal of Medical Tourism (IMTJ);
• 2014 – A grant from the Foundation for Innovation in Fertility in Munich, Germany;
• 2008 – Lifetime Achievement Award from the Turkish Society for Reproductive Medicine;
• 2004 – “Scientist of the Year” award from TEMPO magazine;
• and others.

The doctor is fluent in Turkish and English.
