Prof. Sebastian Melchior

From 1996 to 2003 he was Chief Physician in the Department of Urology at the Johannes Gutenberg University, where he proved to be an outstanding specialist.

In 2003, Sebastian Melchior was appointed Vice-President of the Department of Urology at the University of Gutenberg, where he remained until 2007. Since 2007, Professor Melchior has been Head of the Department of Urology at the Klinikum Bremen Mitte.

Since 2005 Sebastian Melchior has been rated one of the best oncourologists in Germany due to his scientific research into new ways of treating malignant growths in the urogenital tract and feedback from grateful patients.

He specializes in:

• Treatment of tumours of the male reproductive system;
• Minimally invasive operations on prostate and bladder tumours;
• Kidney transplantation;
• Removal of tumours of the kidney, adrenal glands and ureter.
