Since October 2017, Prof. Marcus Reinges has been appointed Head of the Neurosurgical Center Alliance replacing Uwe Neibauer. Before that, he was head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University Hospital Giessen and Marburg for more than 10 years.
Prof. Marcus Reinges specializes in neurosurgery, oncology, diseases of the cerebral/spinal cord vessels, and degenerative diseases of the spine (herniated discs, spinal instability, spinal stenosis). In the future, he intends to develop further in the field of pediatric neurosurgery.
