About the doctor
Head of the Haematopoietic Transplantation Unit at the University Clinic of Navarra.
Dr Rifón Roca qualified at the University of Cantabria (1985) and the University of Navarra (1992). He is a specialist in haematology and haemotherapy. He also undertook training at the Haematopoietic Transplantation Unit of the University of Nebraska Medical Centre (USA).
He is an associate professor in the Department of Haematology and has supervised four PhD theses.
He is the author of six book chapters on his speciality and more than 50 articles in national and international scientific journals.
