About the doctor
One of the best ophthalmologists in the world. Specialist, who from year to year appears in the ranking of top doctors in Germany according to the magazine Focus. For two years he worked outside Germany: the Center for Medical Sciences in Salt Lake City, as well as the Research Center of the Life Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina. He held the post of assistant doctor at the Ruprecht-Carls Ophthalmology Clinic of the University of Heidelberg, as well as a senior research fellow at the same university. He opened a department of cataract surgery in the clinic of the University of Heidelberg. In 1998 he received the title of professor of ophthalmology on the basis of the medical faculty of the Berlin University of Humboldt. Professor Manfred R. Tetz is the creator of the renowned Augentageklinik Spreebogen clinic, the ADC eye diagnostic center, and the BERI (Berlin Eye Research Institute) . He is co-editor of numerous journals and publications in the direction of ophthalmology. Author of more than 300 scientific publications and 1,100 scientific papers, as well as articles for national and international conferences. Prof. Manfred R. Tetz is responsible for the implementation of WET LAB (lectures and courses) for international medical operators. Over the period of his practical activity, the professor conducted more than 75,000 eye operations.
