Dr. Johann Pratschke

World-renowned specialist in the field of oncogenes, transplantation and minimally invasive surgery. Director of the department of general, visceral and transplant surgery at the campus Virchov Charite, as well as the Department of General, Visceral, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery of the Mitte Campus. Former director of the Department of Visceral, Transplant and Thoracic Surgery at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He graduated from the University of Maximilian Ludwig.

Two years of research in the Harvard Medical School. For a long time he held managerial positions in the Neuhaus clinic in Germany. Three-time winner of the Investigator Award from the American Society of Surgery Transplantation, winner of the German Society for Transplantation and the European Society for Organ Transplantation.
