An outstanding specialist in orthopedics. He graduated from the University of Humboldt in Berlin. Completed his doctorate and was ablated at the University of Charite under the guidance of Professor H. Zippel. Since 2003, he is deputy director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery and chairman of the Orthopedics Department of Charité Clinic.
In addition, Carsten Perka is also a professor of arthroplasty and regenerative medicine since 2006 and a professor of orthopedics since 2010.
Professor Dr. Perka is a famous scientist with various research interests. One area of research by Professor Carsten Perka is the development of new implant modifications for the reconstruction of bone defects in the acetabulum, as well as primary implants to optimize the reconstruction of knee kinematics after total knee arthroplasty.
