He has worked as a researcher in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Beth Hospital, Israel, and Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. He was the Director of the Nuclear Medicine Center at Seoul National University Hospital.
He has worked as a visiting specialist in the Thyroid Department of the University of Chicago, USA. He has also served as a visiting physician for respected American oncology organisations such as NIDDK and NIH. He holds the title of Professor. He has held senior positions in leading medical institutions in Korea. Has received 4 awards and honorary mentions in the field of Thyroid Health.
