Prof. Bingür Sönmez

Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Şişli Memorial Hospital.

He received his medical education at Istanbul University. In 1984-1988 he worked as an assistant in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the famous St. Thomas Hospital in London. From 1990 to 2001, he was the Head of the Department of Surgical Sciences at Istanbul University.

He has authored more than 108 scientific publications in national and international medical journals.
