Head of the Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation and Immunotherapy Unit at Hadassah Medical Centre, a highly sought-after paediatrician and specialist in the treatment of rare childhood diseases. She has 20 years’ medical experience, during which time she has performed over 3,500 bone marrow transplants. She graduated from the Hebrew University Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in the paediatric department at Hadassah Hospital. She specialised in bone marrow transplantation at the University of Minnesota in the United States and at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in England. Whilst abroad, she mastered the most advanced and effective treatment methods. She has received several national and international awards in the fields of haematology and immunology. She lectures at the Hebrew University and has authored over 90 scientific papers. She has received awards for her research work. In 2018, she was included in Forbes magazine’s list of Israel’s top doctors.
