About the doctor

Graduated from the Gulhane Military Medical Academy in 1992. He then completed a basic course in oncology and radio-oncology at the University of Pittsburgh. Since 2012 he has been working in the Department of Radiosurgery and Advanced Technology at Medicana Hospital in Ankara.

The professor is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in children and adults. He is specialised in the following types of cancer treatment:

intensity-modulated radiotherapy;
intraoperative radiotherapy;
removal of tumours using the CyberKnife system;
brachytherapy.

He has written and published 26 research papers. The doctor is a member of several Turkish and international Scientific Organizations. Among them:

Turkish Radiation Therapy Society;
European Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology and Oncology;
International Society for Stereotactic Radiosurgery, etc.
