Prof. Faik Sarıalioğlu

Pediatric oncohematologist at Başkent University Hospital.

He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Hacettepe University in 1976. He got the title of Associate Professor in 1988 and was promoted to Professor at Dokuz Eylül University Cancer Institute in 1993.

Member of organisations:

• International Association for Childhood Oncology (SIOP);
• European Association for Education in Cancer (EACE);
• General Secretariat of the Turkish Cancer Research and War Foundation;
• Former President of the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group.

Author of 149 English-language and 243 Turkish publications in scientific journals. He has attended over 700 conferences and panels.

Doctor’s awards:

• Turkish Cancer Research and War Foundation Award (1985);
• Adına Bilimsel Toplantı Düzenlenmesi (2005);
• Febrile Neutropenia Award (2006).
