An expert in hip and knee arthroplasty, foot and hand surgery as well as orthopaedics for children and sports.

He was educated in New Zealand and attended around 150 lectures at the University Hospital. He has been appointed Chief Physician at Munich Hospital. He has been actively involved in the research and development of experimental methods in orthopaedics.
