His professional career spans various sport-related fields, starting from the Functional Assessment and Research Department of the School of Physical Education and Sports Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid (1991-1997), partly overlapping with work at the Medical Centre of the Superior Council of Sports in Madrid (1992-2001), then in the medical services of Real Madrid Football Club (2001-2013), the Royal Spanish Field Hockey Federation (2000-2001), and most recently as a medical consultant to the ACB (2020-2022).
Author of numerous scientific articles, book chapters and a regular speaker at national and international congresses in his speciality.
