About the doctor
Experienced urologist specialising in endourology, treatment of kidney stones, male infertility, urinary disorders, benign prostatic hyperplasia, haematuria, genitourinary cancers. He performs laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
He was educated at Hanyang University. He is a professor of urology at Yonsei University, where he conducts research and teaching activities. He is the Director of the Medical Device Department and Clinical Trial Centre of Severance Hospital. He is involved in many relevant scientific and medical organisations including: Korean Urological Association, Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics, Korean Society of Sexual Medicine and Andrology, Korean Society of Prostatitis, Korean Society of Urological Oncology, European Association of Urology, American Urological Association, International Society of Urology, etc.
He has been honoured with many awards, including: Commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare, International Academic Award from the Korean Urological Association, and Best Reviewer Award from the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics.
