About the doctor
Experienced radiation oncology specialist focusing on the treatment of breast and gynaecological cancers.
He received his medical degree from Yonsei University, where he completed his doctoral thesis and acquired licences to practice. Since 1999, Dr Kim completed his residency in radiation oncology at Yonsei Cancer Centre and has continued his career at the institution, holding positions ranging from instructor to professor and chairman.
He actively uses modern therapies, including heavy ion therapy, in his work.
Dr Kim is a member of numerous professional organisations such as the Korean Association of Oncology and the Korean Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
His achievements include awards for best research and publications, such as the best article award in Radiation Oncology and Journal of Gynecologic Oncology.
