Head doctor of the general, visceral and oncological surgery department.

Studied at the University of Göttingen and the University of Illinois, USA (1978-1984).

Every year he performs over 100 pancreatic surgeries and 150 open and laparoscopic interventions on the stomach.

Author of more than 160 scientific publications.

• 1997 – Best HILP Report, European Congress of the International Hepato-Pancreatic Gallic Association.

• 2014 – Award for publication “Double Liver and Spleen Rupture after Minor Trauma with Markumar 174”. Conference of the Northwest German Surgeons Association.
