Leading specialist in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Samsung Medical Centre. He has been the Director of the Lung and Esophageal Cancer Centre since 2021. Graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine. He specialised in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Samsung Medical Centre and Seoul University. He worked at the Seoul District Military Hospital. He is a recognised expert in robotic lung surgery using the Da Vinci Robot. He is also an expert in lung transplantation.
