In addition to medical practice, he conducts an active scientific activity, namely, he studies T-cell lymphomas. He studied medicine at the University of Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Frankfurt. After training, he held the position of a research associate in the Department of Pathology, the Department of Pediatrics, and the Institute of Oncology of the University (Pennsylvania, USA). For a long time he held managerial positions at the Goethe University Clinic.
