Since 1994 Uwe Trefzer worked as a dermatologist in the Dermatology Department of the most popular medical complex in Europe – Charité clinic Berlin.
Since 2005, the doctor is head of one of the leading oncological centers in Germany, the center of melanoma in the Charité hospital.
Uwe Trefzer is a laureate of the American Academy of Dermatology (one of the most influential medical organizations in the world). This means that Professor Trefzer is always aware of innovative methods of treating skin diseases, the appearance of new drugs and the latest advances in dermatology.
In 2013 he became one of the 5 founders of the Dermatologikum Berlin clinic.
For a long time, Uwe Trefzer investigated the effectiveness of using the immune system in the fight against malignant lesions on the skin, as well as its role in the process of spreading cancer cells.
Author of more than 100 scientific publications and about 60 lectures on dermatology and oncology.
Being a professor at the University hospital Charité, he passes on his knowledge to the learning physicians.
Also Uwe Trefzer is a regular participant of the German Cancer Society and the German Dermatological Society.
