Professor Arnon Samueloff – the head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, is a member of the medical committee in Shaare Zedek. His department is rightfully considered the most busiest in Israel, taking over 20,000 births a year. Thanks to the efforts of the professor, the department takes the leading position in the country in the field of surgical and oncological gynecology, as well as IVF.
In 1992 he completed his specialization in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of San Antonio, Texas. In 1995 he was appointed director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center. In addition to managing this department, Professor Samueloff also leads other departments both inside and outside the medical center, being a specialist in gestational diabetes.
Between 1998 and 2001, he served as chairman of the Israeli Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine. He won national and international recognition for outstanding research work and is the author of more than 200 articles.
The professor acted as the head of more than ten doctoral dissertations for medical students. Teaches at the University. Ben-Gurion in the Negev and in 2004 received the title of professor.
