Thanks to his professional skills and experience, hundreds of patients with lung, ovarian, cervical and breast cancer and gastrointestinal tumours have been treated.

The Hugo Clinic also benefits from its partnership with Sorecoh, a company that specializes in clinical research in oncology and cardiac haematology treatments – this partnership makes new, well-researched treatment options that are effectively accepted by the body available to patients at the Victor Hugo Clinic.

The Hugo Clinic not only incorporates internationally proven developments in cancer therapy into its work but also engages in specialized research on its own. This allows doctors to make more accurate decisions and create the most effective therapy programs – individualized for each cancer patient.

The Hugo Cancer Center outpatient clinic has 21 single rooms and 6 double rooms for patients who are admitted for long-term treatment. All rooms are equipped with a telephone, a TV set, a staff call button, and each room has a toilet. There are comfortable armchairs in the living rooms.

Foreign patients are accompanied by an interpreter, which facilitates communication with the clinic staff.

Important additional services offered by the institution include consultations with a psychologist and a nutritionist. The first specialist will help solve the psychological difficulties that a patient with cancer may be facing. The second specialist will explain the doctor’s prescriptions regarding diet, advise on dishes according to taste preferences, and help formulate a menu.
