Beit Issei Shapiro Children Rehabilitation Center

Beit Issie Shapiro is an Israeli children’s rehabilitation center that annually helps about 30,000 patients with physical, intellectual and mental development delays and to make them full members of society.

In 2011, it received the title of the most effective non-profit medical institution in Israel based on the results of Midot (an international certified system that monitors the quality of services, their safety and benefits).

In 2012, Beit Issie Shapiro became an international consultant in the therapy of children with special needs in the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

In 2015, the clinic received the status of a specialized medical institution from the Health Ministry of Israel.

In the center of Beit Issie Shapiro there is a special rehabilitation program for foreign patients. It is designed for children aging from 6 months to 14 years with physical, mental and intellectual disabilities.

In 1982, the country’s first Early Development Center was opened here. It provides a special curative and educational program for patients from 6 months to 4 years with pathologies of physical, mental and emotional development. At the moment, over 100 centers of early development are in Israel working on the model set by Shapiro.
