Prof. Peter Berlit

The head physician of the Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology Department, Professor and Doctor of Medical Sciences Peter Berlit is one of the leading neurologists in Germany. He is the author of numerous publications in the treatment and diagnosis of neurological diseases, strokes, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, diseases of the spinal cord, nervous system. He developed his own methods of neurological rehabilitation and rehabilitation therapy.

Membership in professional organizations:
• Instructor of the German Ultrasound Society, as well as the Society of Clinical Neurophysiology;
• is a member of the neurological associations of US and European doctors;
• Member of the Council of the Neurological Society of Germany, as well as the Institute of Exam Questions (for students, re-certification of practicing doctors);
• Member of the Commission for urgent therapy of stroke (regional commissioner).
