About the doctor
A renowned neurosurgeon in Turkey with 30 years’ experience. He specialises in the treatment of brain and spinal cord tumours, cerebral haemorrhages and cerebral aneurysms.
He trained at the Department of Neurosurgery at Ankara University. He worked at the Barrow Neurological Institute in the USA, where he took part in scientific research. In 1994, he was appointed professor. For eight years, he headed the Department of Neurosurgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Ankara University.
He is the author of 150 scientific papers and a regular participant in international conferences. He has been teaching neurosurgery for 27 years. He was appointed Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Ankara University.
