Professor Gil Bolotin is head of the department of cardiac surgery in Rambam clinic. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Hebrew University Jerusalem. Earned international experience: practiced in the Netherlands, the city of Maastricht, where he received a specialization in the field of heart failure surgery and a higher PhD degree.
He practiced in the field of mitral and robotic surgery in the basis of the Cardiac Surgery Department of School of Medicine at the University of East Carolina. He worked as a consultant on heart transplant and minimally invasive surgery in Chicago. For 10 years he has been a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion University. Prof. Gil Bolotin actively conducts research in the field of robotic surgery.
