About the doctor
Dr Vida has been a practising doctor since 1978. In 1996 she earned the highest category of an oncologist. She trained in clinics in Germany, Belarus and Lithuania.
Education:
- 1966 – 1972 studied at the Kaunas Medical Institute;
- 2003 – Defended her doctoral thesis on “Hormone replacement therapy and cystic fibrosis in the breast”.
Work experience:
- 1978-1982 – worked as an oncologist at the Institute of Oncology at Vilnius University;
- Since 2005 – works as a surgeon (oncologist-mammologist) at the Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.
